About the role The Developer Relations Manager will cultivate and manage relationships with key developers. The responsibility includes coordinating with internal functions to assure well organized and appropriate developer resources to enable developer partners to successfully publish, promote and monetize games on hi5.com. This person will be responsible for working closely with leading game developers to ensure that their games are easily and fully integrated with the Hi5 site and make good use of hi5 platform technologies. Responsibilities * Refine and execute a developer plan to build, maintain and manage hi5?s developer community * Establish and share best practices, tools, case studies, and other resources to help developers succeed * Carefully review, refine, and implement improvements to communication channels and resources for developers, working closely with internal stakeholders * Work with internal resources to establish tools and methodologies required to carry out annual objectives for this responsibility * Build personal relationships with key individuals at various levels within our strategic partner organizations including senior and executive managers * Engage with internal product marketing and product management to align 3rd party software schedules and promotional requirements Requirements * Computer Science Degree or equivalent * 3+ years experience in a software development role * Solid Project Management skills * Strong written and spoken communication skills * Solid understanding of social network / gaming products a plus * Passion for working to help developers succeed * Experience working with external developers * Prior experience developing game applications is big plus * Excellent communication skills * Pro-active, self starter with ability to work with little / no supervision * Innovative, creative thinker able to work under pressure in a start-up environment but who is highly organized and has the ability to prioritize his / her work * Calculated risk-taker who is passionate about his/her work and wants to make a difference hi5 is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer Please contact: Mark Dove Sr. Technical Recruiter mdove@hi5.com 415 962-7004 Hi5 Networks 55 2nd St. suite 400 SF CA 94105 |
